Strategic Planning

In 2015, DC Public Schools implemented 204 Cornerstones aligned to 52 courses in 9 content areas. DCPS employed four key strategies in implementation. Following the success of Cornerstones, in the fall of 2016, districts from across the country joined The Cornerstones Network, committing to collaboration around Cornerstones-style change management strategies.

DCPS partnered with LearnZillion to manage the Cornerstones Network and author an interactive Cornerstones Toolkit with step-by-step instructions to plan and implement a curricular strategy.
